Karim Guédé:
Mother from Togo, father is french, born in Germany, has been nominated for the Togolese national for the WC 2006, now playing for the Slovakian national team and a German club.
Nominated
Wich means he didn't play for Togo.
If he had played, he wouldn't have been able to even be nominated by Slovakia.
I don't even see how it can be discussed, these two guys played for UK last time (wich was already quite a break in rules to be honnest) and now you allow them to represent USA?
I knew there was clan hoppers, but Nation hoppers is very new to me! (well, maybe not, Mozambique power...)
EDIT : regarding Pumukel post
This could be a decent exemple in favor of allowing them to play for USA but you miss the point that make people wonder what the hell is going on...
Neither Jerome or Kevin-Prince played for one of the team before changing mind and changing team (don't take into account youth selection or that would mean you consider last nation cup as a youth competition, I know you don't)
Once the choice is made and you actually represent a country in an official international competition, there's no way back.
