I guess posting these last recs was pretty much be the last thing left to do to conclude the tournament, so I'll just write this here: Many thanks for hosting and organising the tournament to our administrators pumukel and prv_limb, thanks for casting to all the casters, and thanks for participating to the players! This was my first ever tournament to play in, and I met a lot of new nice people thanks to it. I also think it helped me improve, especially considering playing under pressure. It also re-ignited my interest in AoE2 multiplayer, which went down quite a bit a few months ago, and last but not least got me to play some non-TGs. :P But the best part for me certainly was meeting so many new players.
And yeah, I got only a low amount of different civs over the course of the tournament: 2x Azt, 3x Britons, 2x Koreans, 1x Teutons, 1x Vikings, 1x Japanese, 1x Celts, 2x Saracens... guess that's just true randomness.
What you've all been waiting for, the main event, it's finally over! With the most insane team match ups of
blunder & Blotch
BradPitt & The_Pharos
thepeganator & FreshFeeling99
nimanoe & Dinnuk
It was always sure to be an event of titanic proportions!
In no less than 3 recorded games (not including the 3 fails at restoring the wrong file) we present the game of the century!
Biggest titanic shout out goes to the 73 archer loss in <30 seconds, can anyone guess who and when from the timeline?
Final winners (or last losers perhaps) were... (drum roll please)...
thepeganator & FreshFeeling99
A last massive thank you from me to Pumukel for hosting this, to all the streamers for taking the time out of their day to show everyone else these often terrible games, and finally players for making this such a fun first experience!
