Thanks for the response, I can now see why it has to be like this is if you've decided that you don't want someone to get there without at least winning a match to get back into the tournament. I do think it gives opportunities to Yo and MbL that weren't merited by their original records in the tournament, but it's unavoidable and indeed probably the best way given that no other losing quarter finalists fit the bill
I do agree with Nimanoe that rating should be ignored beyond the initial seeding process, so with that in mind perhaps there is an argument on a hypothetical level for including FeAge and Prays (as 2-1 losers instead of 2-0 losers, and Yo has already lost to Mentalist so FeAge losing to Slam doesn't matter), but on a practical level it would create an inordinate delay in determining who Mentalist's opponent should be and the Yo/MbL solution is better.
Most of the other concerns and question have been addressed / answered in earlier posts.

Just imagine in a tennis tournament, that one of the finalist doesnt feel well or gets injured before the match and cant play the final (as it happened many times). Do you think they replace him for another player to play the final? Hell no, they just skip the game and go onto the ceremony. Sucks? Yes, but it is the fair thing to do, especially when some money is involved.
Considering there are 4 pages of Keyboard warrior rants, instead of thanks for all the work Swissboyy puts in, I just curiously wonder what ACCM has to say on the whole matter? He probably doesnt care.
if mentalist loses to someone who already won, it would be an injustice to mentalist? (Eg if he lose vs Yo) and is a second chance for Yo, I prefer to see a AW than see an injustice, and I think here we can all agree that the rated-rating not matter, this is a tournament, then choose based on what which it was demonstrated in the tournament, not based on the score rated. You can open your head slightly Mr. admin ?

I get that he lost to Fire, but considering the other two were knocked out earlier, it seems a bit unfair. Was his scheduling bad earlier in the tournament?
I think ACCM should have been asked first. He went further in the tournament. In my opinion Swissboy disrespected ACCM by not asking him.
I still don´t get it why they don´t have a backup plan for this. They got all the rules but this is just random.
