If i am mining gold or stone with 1 vil, how much do i have to mine to make it worth it to do miningcamp? :?
Its a philosophical question.
If we assume that a villager collects 20 of any resource per minute,
then all you have to do is compare:
A) the cost of pointless walking from gold/stone to town center
B) the cost of the mining camp (plus the cost of time to build it)
An example:
Stone is at 14 tiles from TC. You want to collect 300 stone for 4 towers. No wheel barrow.
You waste 29" for every 10 stone you collect. So, for the 300 stone you waste 30 times this amount of vill-seconds, or ~870".
A = (870/60) * 20 == 490
B = 100 + ~10 = 110.
So, in this example you should definitely build a camp.
If the distance is only 4 tiles and you need only 200 stone, then you don't need a mining camp.
