Hello all. I just wanted to know your thoughts on an idea that has been floating around in my head for a while.
I've been watching Starcraft 2 recently and one thing I picked up is that especially for all in pushes worker production, or optimal worker production, is sacrificed in favour of military units. I was wondering if this was a concept applicable to Age.
Obviously in Feudal Age this is almost always a bad idea. In Castle Age however is where I think it could work, especially once you have two to three TCs. Keeping production up obviously costs 100+ food every few seconds and maybe stopping it for a while could give you a few more knights etc. Is this a point not really touched on that much when discussing strategy or am I underestimating the importance of a fifteen villager lead.
Also just to clarify I understand people will say having a better economy will win you the game at most levels. However in my experience from around 1600 elo (which is where I am on a good day) military control is just as, if not more important.
I haven't personally tested this theory of mine too much but wanted to know if I should maybe start using the idea more.
