Micro is very engaging and the majestic allure behind it is that if your are highly skilled with it you can easily resist, attack, defend and control the outcome of most situations. No one mentions how dominant Macro is...its damn intense and dare I say very much more fast paced in SC2, and the micro in that game is practiced by some for 10 hours...they lead because they know they are winners, but to remain a winner you need to train, and practice.
I do not have step 1 or 2, as I believe everyone has different areas they want to refine, learn, or just do it better than another player.
I cannot train or practice for 10 hours unless I got some good friends because that helps keep the purity of the game being fun and less boring. I also am subject to recent carpal tunnel issues so I cannot play on the computer as long as I used to; for future secure your own health. You don't wanna be doing something repetitively only to become bored..and hate the game altogether because of undesirable results.
Me personally I for damn sure use music to define the intensity in my micro, I'm a damn Lion! So condition your personal mind so that you first understand that it will take care, repetition, diligence and friends. I've tried without friends it worked out, but the multiplier of results exponentially was a hell of a lot better doing it with good friends. Practice games with them. How many games did kkab and daut play? Yeah it happens behind the scenes..100s of games you will never know about.
Micro Intensity: The art behind it!
Repetitions
Repetitions build what is known in gaming and even other forms of sports, and art known as muscle memory. It is when you have conditioned yourself to develop a fixed reaction over and over again working against the odds successfully. You are going to become keen and more evolved at what you do and how you do it. The more good time spent; the better. What I meant by evolved is that you are crossing into the unknown you will become and form your own unique form of pattern to handle situations you see fitting for your advantage. There is no way any of us can say Daut plays the same as Chris, or that the Viper micros like Riut right? Hell no, they have formed there own unique way and art behind their micro.
