You really want to have a public quote and copy paste war here, Kitt?

[16/07/2016 22:30:21] Martin Taff: Genette doesnt pay for it
Not consistent, is it? Even so, it doesn't matter who pays for it. All I said was that it had been shut down. It's his prerogative not to turn it back on, but given that was a valuable asset facilitating community and gameplay for AoC players, the community-minded thing to do would be to turn it back on and let somebody else run it if you don't want to. Like this:

It's an assumption that was made by other people as well who saw postings by Genette that you cannot see. I also wrote 'apparently'. I also know that Genette is a very intelligent, articulate man, the kind of person who makes well-written posts pretty much without fail, and when such a man tells everyone in VooblyOfficial and Voobly tournament admin 'fu.ck you all' in the middle of the night and writes some sweary, very badly-constructed posts that don't entirely make sense, there is a reasonable assumption to be made of what 'apparently' might be the cause. Not that it would have been a problem if he had come back and maybe retracted some things, maybe apologised, but three (ish) days later he was still standing by everything and still using his access to things to take damaging actions.

Really? What's this then?
[17/07/2016 5:32:37 AM] Blake: Now we need to make sure that someone posts in either redit or aoczone supporting in a way memb
[17/07/2016 5:32:58 AM] Blake: Like memb has been unbanned and g has been removed from voobly staff

^ Looks like a member of Voobly staff to me.
As I have just shown, I not only had authorisation, but an instruction.
You can remove me as a Voobly Promoter whenever you feel like doing so. I will still continue to promote Voobly, the main game it allows people to play, and encourage people to play and watch the game by providing information on how to play it and creating community content, just like I have been doing virtually every day for 9 or 10 months now.
Let's look at what I said.
1) Memb has been unbanned - everyone can see that.
2) Genette has been demoted - everyone can see that.
3) Genette posted 'fu.ck you all' etc etc on AoCZone - nothing to do with Voobly thinking or policy
4) Shut down the Teamspeak server and won't turn it back on even if we do the work - nothing to do with Voobly thinking or policy, only Genette and/or Taff administrated and paid for it, and you pasted a quote yourself illustrating this
5) Removed OBS versions - literally nothing to do with Voobly
6) Banned Memb from Voobly - everyone can see that
7) Teamspeak is coming back, Taff will sort it out - nothing to do with Voobly thinking or policy, and it's a reassurance to the community that a valuable asset which has been strongly missed this week (http://aoczone.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=96517&start=20) is going to come back soon
8) I will write a guide about custom OBS settings - nothing to do with Voobly thinking or policy
9) Some nice things about Genette's work for the community - nothing to do with Voobly thinking or policy
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The funny thing is that I wrote this disclaimer at the start of my post because I knew I'd get some kind of response like this about talking about Voobly stuff - which I've just demonstrated above that I am not.

Yes, which is part of the reason why this drama caused so many problems. You may not know, but I spent an entire week organising an event for this weekend and sponsored it with $150. I didn't really see or take any part in it, didn't do the planned streams I wanted to, neither did other planned community streams happen. Instead, I was busy publicly defusing a big PR problem for Voobly/VooblyOfficial community channels and asking, together with other members of the VooblyOfficial community team that you unban Memb before 13 GMT - who was banned wrongly due to Genette acting on a personal agenda, which you know perfectly well and knew before Saturday 13 GMT, I'm of the opinion that we supplied enough evidence - which was only 3 hours before his ban would have expired anyway. Instead, you sat on your hands, giving zero voice to any one of the people who have kept VooblyOfficial going in Taff and Genette's absence, and ruined the entire weekend's events because it was apparently acting too quickly to lift a demonstrably wrongly-given ban three hours early.
a few things that i think need correcting.- SMB360
Shut down the community TeamSpeak server and refused to turn it back on, even when we offered to take on the administration work for him.
the server was an arrangement through a friend of genette's i believe. this is what genette posted on that.
What the **** are you on about? I've paid 1 year of this Team Speak out of my own pocket before it it was covered by community donations. It was registered under my name. I've got letters about due payments (and paid them out of my own pocket) and whatnot. I've registered this server, configured this server and admistrated this server for more than 18 months now

Or could you just let one of us take over the current set up? Let some of us take over administering it, creating channels etc.
How about no? How about you go through all **** yourself and get a sense of how much work has gone into building every single project since 2013.

before making statements like the below, you might need to be sure of your facts not make assumptions.

"voobly" will deal with its own business and all its respected staff, on its own web site, in its own time.
