4v4 is too hard to schedule. Can get a bit too laggy (Although it seems its fixed for the most part by now) and 3v3s are more interesting to watch and play in general. Also not too hard to schedule.
Didn't know this either. Let's hope those long nights watching KOTD 3 didn't catch up with himPinztec hasnt replied to Membs messages for a couple of months already.
So its very unlikely he will do more sponsoring.
That really should not be an acceptable argument for pro players, especially when they have teams of 5 or 6 players available to play (or even more in the case of WWP).4v4 is too hard to schedule.
I've read that too many times in the past when it didn't actually happen.I think in a 4v4 AM would breeze through to victory.
Not if the esports are to be taken seriously that is for sure.really should not be an acceptable argument for pro players

Let us just have GL vs aM then :Donly very few of them are actual "pro" in the core meaning of the word though, as in professionals meaning it being their main income. and im not talking about streaming/being an entertainer. most aoe2 top players are still having to work or are students etc. so im pretty sure we cant expect people to scheducle like if playing was their full time job.
Didnt memb say last year, that he wont do BoA3 this year ?I want a War is Coming style TG.
But it is pretty likely we are gonna see KOTD4 and BOA3. What is the third event gonna be? 1v1 tournament with bigger map pool than only Arabia? Huge TG? 2V2?
I guess the LAN is likely to be KOTD or a new 1v1. While covid should hopefully be almost gone by then I would still assume that it is more likely that a 1v1 LAN would be possible to do since it won't need as many players for it to work out.
It is gonna take a long time until all covid restrictions are gone. Like, a loooong time
Yes, but I'm pretty sure he said he wouldn't do boA2 either. Could be wrong though.Let us just have GL vs aM then :D

Fulltime streaming is something where there is little excuse because they have schedule flexibility but that is a good point. I don't want to speak for Tarsiz but what I really meant is that you would want it to get there. I think we can all agree AoE2 has that potential.only very few of them are actual "pro" in the core meaning of the word though, as in professionals meaning it being their main income. and im not talking about streaming/being an entertainer. most aoe2 top players are still having to work or are students etc. so im pretty sure we cant expect people to scheducle like if playing was their full time job. is there even a single aoe2 team right now that can field 4 actual fulltime players? gl maybe if u count streaming as being the same as full time playing. maybe one more, but even that allready results in the vast majority of opposing teams not being just full time players.
In a serious prize-pooled tournament, you will want to be using your best players. That really should not be an acceptable argument for pro players, especially when they have teams of 5 or 6 players available to play (or even more in the case of WWP).
4v4 is crazier, bigger and harder to cast. It is also basically 2 2v2s on either side. 3v3 is not so crazy, slightly smaller and is more of its own game rather than 2 2v2s. Both are fun to watch but I think 3v3s are easier to follow. From a gameplay perspective what are the arguments for 3v3 vs 4v4?

I imagined this as someone pausing for effect and saying interesantehas to be interesting
yes and scheduling took for ever, the event super long etc. not like it was a small effort. helped a lot that the WiC sponsor didnt care about viewership/money. its just not very practical in the current situation, when u can have much higher hype with condensed weekend events. doesnt ofc make it impossible, but just less likely due to more effort with less gain. Many top teams in at least one past tournament used to literally schedule 6v6 matches as they had 2 dedicated DM players. I don't think scheduling 4v4 is a problem lol
