kinda poor teamwork coupled with basically getting out massed caused the POV player's team to get behind on water early, however they continue to pursue a losing battle for longer than advisable. experience would suggest in this situation it is advisable to a) abandon the fight for the water, AND make sure that all players on the team know its been abandoned b) spilt what galleys you do have into small groups and go fish boat hunting, thus forcing the team who actually have the advantage to chase you around and work hard to ensure that winning the water has an advantage for them c) while their doing that you castle and boom them into the ground.
small general point, Ra puts his castles in the wrong place - i.e. front of his base. its obvious that mayan has econ advantage and Ra loses 2 castles for nothing, better to let the mayan waste time munching thru some houses, a tc and a few vills while you mass longbows. longbows require a critical mass to be effective, but once you have achieved that critical mass they act like a blow torch - while there are plenty of more powerful units, they fail to get in range to attack before they die. mongol probably needed siege rams or something to meat shield the mangu and enable him to drive forward on the japanese base, but he he didnt have the econ for them so its not exactly a mistake
