Masters of Arabia 2v2 - Full Rules and Settings:
In Masters of Arabia 2v2, teams with rosters of 2 or 3 players will compete in 2v2 matches on the standard Arabia map only.
Instead of the 'no sling until Imperial Age' rule, the tournament will now use the Masters of Arabia 2v2 mod. All games must be played using this mod. It has the following changes:
- Base tribute tax of 50% instead of 30%.
- Both Coinage and Banking technologies moved to the Imperial Age.

Settings Explanations:
Hidden Civ Free Pick: The two civs on a team must be different.
Civ Draft: Teams take it in turns to pick a civ, but once a civ has been picked, it cannot be picked again by either team. Banned civs where civ drafts are used are stated in the rules, along with which team picks first, so please pay attention to this. The civ draft must take place in the Voobly game room before launching the game, with each team saying which civ they choose when it is their turn to pick.

Scheduling:
Teams must schedule and play their games by Sunday 23:59 GMT on the date of the round deadline, as indicated on the Challonge brackets: http://challonge.com/moa2v2 & http://challonge.com/moa2v2q.
Each team is encouraged to provide their best times and schedule as efficiently as possible throughout the whole week in order to get the games played in time.
The staff will be very strict regarding scheduling, and difficulties might end up in Admin Times or Admin Wins.
Restarts:
Teams are not allowed to call restarts except in the case of admin restarts for bugged maps. Players who call admin restarts must do so before the game clock reaches 8:00 (8 minutes). If a team believes their opponents called a fake admin restart, they must provide the Tournament Admins with the relevant information and recorded games.
Admin restarts for bugged maps are only allowed for the following: Any of a player's starting villagers, starting scout/eagle warrior, 8 sheep, 2 boars, berries, 3 (1x 7-tile, 2x 4-tile) gold or 2 stone mines (1x 5-tile, 1x 4-tile) are missing or trapped.
Definition of 'trapped':
- Main gold (7-tile) - less than 4 tiles able to be mined by 1 villager
- Other golds (4-tile) - less than 2 tiles able to be mined by 1 villager
- Stones (5-tile and 4-tile) - less than 2 tiles able to be mined by 1 villager
- Berries - less than 2 tiles able to be gathered by 1 villager
- Animals and units - if they cannot be moved to the player's TC
Tournament Rules:
1) All teams must respect the tournament schedule and play their games by the end of each round. No exceptions or delays will be granted.
2) Admin decisions may be made where teams fail to schedule.
3) If it is approaching the end of a round and no time has been scheduled to play the games, admin times may be set.
4) If your opponents do not show up to a scheduled time or admin time and you want to request an admin win, please take a screenshot of the time at http://www.worldtimeserver.com/current_time_in_UTC.aspx together with the Voobly game room in the Tournament Lobby, showing that your opponents are not there. Those two things must be visible in the same screenshot. Example: http://image.prntscr.com/image/72b14fc3aef6474f8575fda242f2aed6.png Post the screenshot in the scheduling topic for your match. The maximum waiting time before an admin win can be requested is 30 minutes.
5) All teams agree not to smurf or account share. All players agree to play their games on either the 'highest rated' or 'most known' accounts that they signed up with. Smurfing or account sharing will result in disqualification.
6) All players automatically agree to all tournament rules by signing up, including any possible future changes that admins may make to the rules.
7) All players agree to show good conduct towards their opponents, and instances of bad behaviour (such as flaming or racism) as determined by admins may incur punishments, including disqualification.
8) All games must be played in the Voobly Tournament Lobby using the VCOM Ladder. The maximum spectator delay allowed is 3:00 (3 minutes).
9) Recorded games for all matches will be posted by admins ASAP.
10) In case of drops/disconnections, all games must be saved and restored. If restoring is not possible, all recorded game files, along with any additional information, must be given to the admins immediately so that they can make a decision about how to proceed.
11) Prizes will be sent by PayPal. Fees may be deducted.
12) Teams may also sign up with an External Operator if they require someone who is fluent in English to help them with scheduling. The External Operator is not allowed to play games for the team.
13) By signing up you agree to have your games spectated and streamed by any streamer who is added to the Official Streamers List. Players can choose whether to allow other spectators besides admins or streamers.
14) If players or teams are breaking the civ rules in the game settings (such as by using different civilisations in the civ draft to the ones that they picked), please provide the admins with screenshots of the chat from the Voobly Game Room and/or in-game setup screen where civs were picked, along with any relevant recorded games.
