All maps are very dynamic and fun to watch except Ancient Lake v4. I don't see the problem with mixed maps, they actually force you to make a strategical choice. Guess I am lucky to have same map taste as sponsor.
Actually, though I understand why you may think that Ancient Lake v4 is not as fun to watch, but one of my favorite games of the tournament (Warlord vs SYB) was played on Ancient Lake. Their choice different civs and completely different approach in castle age made the grushing battles so back and forth that it catapulted that game in my most enjoyed list. Actually, not only was that match back and forth, it also somewhat reflected to growing and abating tides of the overall match. Warlords, having just lost the first game (again LN, btw, due to poor Slam's bad spot pick), fought with their full might to wrest back the initiative while SYB fought super hard to retain it!
