TyRanT Z (vs) 2K4 MY ASS
DreaIVIs, _DauT_ (vs) F1Re, GoKu, St4rk
DreaIVIs, _DauT_ (vs) F1Re, GoKu, St4rk
The teams met in the Winner’s Bracket, where TyRanT Z were victor with a close 2-1 victory after being 1-0 down. This does give a mental advantage towards TyRanT Z, but I still believe these games will be just as close as they were in last set.
2k4 MY ASS do have an additional player, if that is good or bad remains yet to see, but they have the possibility to switch a player in case one is having a bad day, whereas TyRanT Z must use their only two players at any time. 2k4 MY ASS has had a good run lately, winning both their last rounds with the closest margin possible.
I think 2k4 MY ASS' best chances lie in the first 40 minutes of the game. The further the games go, the bigger of an advantage TyRanT Z gets due to their experience and high level of imperial age play, which only St4rk of the three opponents can match. Viewing their last set, I have the feeling we're in for a great showing from both sides, giving us great records to watch.
The previous set was a best of 3, but we now have a best of 5 on our hands, and I do believe the final score will turn out 3-2 to one of the teams. The settings do not favor either of them, but it goes without saying that a lot will depend on the civilizations and the maps in game 2 and 3.
DreaIVIs have shown a rising form curve through the whole tournament, especially with a strong performance versus NWA in their previous round, showing that he's approaching his old level. However, the whole team of 2k4 MY ASS have shown great abilities and form over the last weeks, proving that all of them are able to compete with the best of the best.
With that being said, I have to admit that I believe it all comes down to the wildcard _DauT_. If he shows up in beastmode, then 2k4 MY ASS will have a hard time, but if he's not ready or able to bring his A - Game, then the matches are as unpredictable as they could be.
TyRanT Z | 2k4 MY ASS | |
Pros: | + Experience | + Form |
+ Higher maximum level | + Teamwork
+ Confidence | + Good flow
Cons: | - Lack of practice | - Lower maximum level |
- Inconsistent | - Lost last series vs TyRanT Z
- Teamwork | - Experience |
Game 1: Free Pick
- TyRanT Z (Aztecs+Mayans) (vs) 2k4 MY ASS (Aztecs+Mayans)
Tyrant Z has had a history of losing their first game in multiple rounds through the MOA2v2. 2k4 MY ASS wins, being better prepared and up to the task from the start.

Game 2 Random Civilizations
Game 3: Switch Civilizations of game 2
- Unpredictable. One win for each of the teams due to better civs.
Game 4: Huns + Mongols
DauT and DreaIVIs have great experience with both Huns and Mongols and knows how to exploit them to the best of their ability. TyRanT Z wins.
Game 5: Free pick but cannot repeat Civilizations used by both teams in G1 and G4
- Unpredictable choice of civilizations, but Britons, Celts, Chinese, Spanish and Teutons are all good picks, and I think the choices will be among them. Being 2-2, I think TyRanT Z handles the pressure better due to their great experience, and are able to perform well enough to advance and face VNS B in the Final of the Loser’s Bracket.
Final Score Prediction:
TyRanT Z 3 – 2 2k4 MY ASS

TyRanT Z 2-3 2k4 MY ASS
After all these rounds, finally TyRanT Z showed glimpse of their strength in last round vs Niggas With Attitude but its far away from what they could achieve. On one hand TyRanT Z is equipped with all the experience of playing competitions at highest highest level but lack the team co-ordination and good practice whereas on the other hand 2k4 MY ASS is very new to such competitions but all the recent performances (each player is showing high peaks in performance these days) has shown their mettle. Their team chemistry is too good with proper co-ordination.
Its going to be a close match up where everything will depend on how DreaIVIs play and what team 2k4 MY ASS gonna put forward.

3-2 for 2k4 MY ASS
I think Goku-Fire-Stark will take it..They have been practicing much more and have preformed excellent in the tournament. Even though they are up against an expierenced team, with enough training they will molly wopp Tyrant Z. Daut plays too defensive and allows it to be an open game. Dreams preforms well but in order for them to win, Daut needs to be in his best shape. Also if I may add, Tyrant Z has shown 0 teamwork and communication however it's no surprise considering he is teaming Dautovic. Best of luck to both teams, but I believe 2k4MYASS training will pay off in situations like this.

The winner will be the same. I believe ever and goku (or even fire, i don't know who's going to play) are playing great, with good team work and nice game play by each one. but, despite i haven't noticed daut and dreams doing practice games, they're still a bit stronger than 2k4 MY ASS.
So, as we already saw TyRanT Z winning 2k4 MY ASS (Round 2 winners bracket) 2-1, i guess daut and dreams gonna win again with close and good games. My bet is 3-2 for TyRanT Z.

I think 2k4 MY ASS will win 3-1. I think Goku and Fire are playing really good team game and Fire has been beating strong opponents in team game and 1vs1 and he is really in shape, and I don't think Daut and Dreams moment is the best now.

3-2 to 2k4 MY ASS.
Clearly 2k4 my ass is the underdog on this matchup but lately Stark is practising really hard and Goku might come as a good surprise, not sure how Fire is doing but he is also a great player, its gona be tough games but I believe on Brazil power, daut is quack quack.

I think it is going to be a very close series with 2k4 My Ass win 3-2 over TyRanT Z.
Daut and Dreams are simply not in their best shapes while 2k4 My Ass is rolling with wins over other 2k+ teams.

I'll go with TyranT Z 3-1 because I believe they turned a little bit of a corner in their latest matches against Niggas With Attitude. Daut seemed to be a bit more on point and Dreams is definitely playing better than he was in the earlier rounds, and I think the combination of their overall class/experience will carry them to a hard fought victory.

I think that the match will be very closed up. As we say in my country the Shirt is heavy (when refering to soccer) That means that even when the players aren at their best shape, a good team is a good team and that inspires respect. So Tyrant Z, isnt fully armed now, but they are still the big daut and the historical dreams. I think that the result will be in favor of 2k4 my ass, but really close. So 3-2 is what I think as the most possible result. 2k4 my ass is really prepared for this games, they have shown some of the best games untill now and they are in the best shape, but as said it isnt easy to handle one of the legends of aoc history with another great player.
MoA is a great tournament and i wanted to congratulate you the admins, and also thank you for the games.

I’d like to rename these teams. Let’s go with Institutional Knowledge vs Creative Destruction. Daut/Dreams are clearly the most experienced team in this tournament, and Stark/Fire/Goku are several of the most practiced, young and hungry expert players at the moment. The combination is really interesting.
This series will be decided at the margins, meaning it will be the micro-level decisions that win the day, not macro gaming (I believe the teams are relatively equal in macro aspects; if there is anyone outside clan Tyrant that can match Daut’s boom, it’s Stark, and so as with many high-level games, the outcome will depend on the little things). There is a lot to talk about when trying to decide who will win, but I’ll focus my comments on the players/teams themselves.
While we know who will play for Tyrant as they are a 2-man team, we don’t know about 2k4. I would argue this plays significantly into calculations concerned with who will be singing ‘we are the champions’ at the end of the day (at least, for this week). Having 3 players allows 2k4 to pick and choose who will play which games, depending on skill level/preference with certain civs – team Creative Destruction, adaptable. Basically all this means is that 2k4 has a chance of winning against the two legends, who have played all civ combinations a billion times for about a decade – team Institutional Knowledge. But what if Stark doesn’t play? Stark is slightly better than both Goku or Fire, and since it will be the slight, small gameplay that will determine this series, I think Stark’s participation matters significantly to the final score. For this reason, I give the edge to 2k4 (3-2), if Stark plays, and to Tyrant (3-2), if Stark does not. Yes, I’m hedging my bet, but here’s to hoping one of my predictions is right and we get a full set of 5 games between these two great teams.
