Wow, thank you!Sounds like you know the answer but might be unable to do anything about it. I'd strongly recommend finding some other hobbies, it's hard to change those habits unless you have another thing that will capture your interest. Don't worry about getting worse at the game if you take a break- in my experience most breaks actually help your strategy, and besides in the grand scheme of things we are noobs and always will be. Even if you reach 2k after grinding thousands of hours you'll still be a noob- it's not worth it. Learn to play the piano, get a dog, write a blog, learn to cook, spend time with your friends, go for a hike- if you're happier you'll enjoy your aoe2 time even more.
Okok i'll stop being so serious now.
people have been telling you this for over a month, why do you keep posting these threads?Wow, thank you!
Wow, never saw it this way.If you work with people who don't know AoE2 lingo, whose fault is it really? Ask yourself that.
Different game but this applies nicely: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/qeeggk/reynor_tells_it_like_it_is/and besides in the grand scheme of things we are noobs and always will be.
That's exactly the point- as soon as you're okay with that fact everything will be more enjoyable imo.Different game but this applies nicely: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/qeeggk/reynor_tells_it_like_it_is/
So i recently was chatting with my coworker and i wrote 11 instead of haha and he didnt get it. I was schocked when i realized AoE2 now is a part of my small vocabulary. Is it over for me? Should i leave AoE2 due to keep my sanity?
both of you are one of the last trolls on aoezone, from the noob & troll master himself, thank you for existing, much love and a happy holiday season to you.105 8 27 70 10
"I am not trolling" Proceeds to troll...Wait, how is he a troll? these are real issues that are relatable to a lot of people including myself.
I barely even play the game anymore but I keep dreaming about woad raiders attacking farms,
there was a time in my life where I did nothing but play aoe2, and I still suffer from it, like some sort of PTSD.
This may sound silly and ooh he's a troll, but this is serious.
AoE2 is a big chunk of many of our lives so much so that it flows over to regular life, it's no joke.
