This thread is not about t90, but rather about FB Gaming as a whole, regarding its functionality, role and purpose. This is also not about Facebook as a company or its ethics.
Personally, I find Facebook Gaming just a horrible idea overall. Even disregarding the fact that many younger people have stopped using FB as a platform altogether, Facebook seems to be the worst possible place for streaming and watching streams.
The reason for this is obvious: on Facebook, you are supposed to use your real name (and most people do that). Even if you don't, you still have contact with your real life friends and maybe even family. Many people also have colleagues or even their boss as "friends" on Facebook.
Who on earth wants every one of their real life contacts and friends to know they are watching aoe2 streams regularly? Who wants other people watching aoe2 streams to be able to google and stalk you? Who wants to give up their longtime aoe2/internet persona and their anonymity?!
The whole idea just seems entirely absurd to me...
