1- Wouldn't allow him to build farms over strangler trees till min 13:00 or something
2- Double the time he needs to build a castle (thought of BS, but he'll figure it out)
3- Triple the time he needs to rebuild his farms (no way he'll notice  )
4- Would disable enemy archer/TC/castle range or dmg (via fletching etc.) but it'd show as normal at the stats window
5- Wouldn't allow him to lock gates
6- Would cut off LOS of enemy scout by 1 tile and decrease its speed by 5%
7- Would automatically add to my own, 10% of whatever resources he has, every time he reaches 300
8- Would add 2-5 sec creation time for all his mil units (and subtract from mine)
9- Would add (secret) archer armour to my spear-line
10- Would increase LOS and speed of my own scouts
11- Would add significant bonus dmg to all my trash units
12- Would add extra range to my towers/TC
13- Would limit ram/treb dmg done to all my mil buildings by 35%
14- Would add a "increased bumping chance" bug for enemy vills when in close proximity and over 4
...
I could go on 4ever
You know, these kind of things are actually been done on Gameranger. Gameranger does not have anti cheat function, so some people use it in this kind of way. I have played with certain good players a long time, before finding out they had been using gamehack all the time. You fall from admiration to contempt.
The problem is, you never know for sure. I have played many games, where i lost for unclear reasons. Where i could say by the way they play they weren't that good, their pop was not as high, their choices of units not too smart.
And still, they just seem to die harder. In general i have a good feeling about how much army i need to reach a certain target, but in those games they just walk to death.
I most have played 100's of games like that. In many occasions i won anyway, because they often rely on cheats alone, and in the end the pure mass and tactic wins. But still, it is so sad, to play a different game then your opponent.
I once left a very harsh comment on a forum where they downloaded their gamehack. Telling that it would not benefit their skill. More so, i would not benefit their personality. I would evolve the cheater into a lifelong loser. Something like that i said, and i think they were not particularly happy about that. It was removed soon after.
Still, i stand by this idea. This game contributes to your life by learning you how to tackle challenges, how to coop with defeat, how to take a beating and stand up again and improve yourself. It is an emotional and intellectual workout. That is why i love AOC. If you are cheating all of this gain is reduced to nothing and teaches you only the wrong motivations. It will stick with you the rest of your life.
