This is about when people who get delayed/bad map or are just really aggresive choose to go full army without making any extra tc's. Sometimes they manage to turn the tie! But it got me thinking:
Can someone explain why someone would take the risk of doing three tc vs enemy who full 1 tc pure cav archer? Last game i saw Viper-Daut, he seemed to be almost dying if not for superb skirmisher choice. Wouldnt the risk of dying vs pure cav archer be way less if you only do two tc's?
Watched some recording lately and people who went three tc's start vs pure cavarcher enemy (1 tc) seemed to die alot more then people who did two tc's start castle age, then added the third when they outmassed/balanced enemy.
I think your vills will be spending to much time in tc anway to even get three tc's going in the first place. Why not spend the huge amount of resource of making third tc to more cav arch so you can eventually outnumber him faster with less risk of dying and your 1,5x beat his eco anyway?
The plus side of third tc is map control i guess. If you have three spots where you need to collect wood/gold. But many times i see 1 tcguy outmass 3tc guy and take down one tc really fast anyway since 3tc guy cant afford to make a huge defense to save his third tc. You guys see where i am going at?
Also I never see comebacks of people who went 1 tc vs two tc's, but when enemy made three there is actually a huge comeback possible!.
