Is FC into hoang-like all in Monk+Siege push really the only way?

Depends on map and civ, with good counter imp civs (goths, celts, slavs..) you can just boom yourself, you shouldnt be that behind in boom (if at all) and then you should win in imp because of your better army, going for proper early castle age aggresion can work aswell - but be careful with monks, cumans can mass spears and slightly faster scouts, so going for classic monk rush with few monks few spears might not work, I realized its better to go heavy spear + siege and 1 or even no monastery, instead of 2x/3x monastery.

I would say FC into siege tower harrass. Some might argue taking a guaranteed draw is too risk-averse but if your primary goal is to climb then I think a safe, stable approach is the most prudent course of action.

From my experience, this is the worst option. First, there are 2 TCs you cant push through instead of 1, also with good scouting or just naturally 2nd cuman TC can be on stone, so its lower possibility to push off stone. And then you gotta add that cumans have +50% on pallisades, which helps a lot vs any feudal aggresion + theres a possibility to get pushed by rams, although huge investment for feudal can work very nicely vs trush+maa in late feudal.

I have found that fast siege PIKE push is very effective and also easy to pull of (compare to smush that requires sharp micro with monks). If they try to add maa/longswords to counter, then just add scorpions. To be said, best way he can defend against that is to go up and get defensive castle asap. But he have to be mining stone already before you attack or he won't have enough time to get 650 and nowadays more often than not players are not going straight Kipchak after feudal booming.

Feudal towers only have 700 hp and u should be able to punish that easily.
