Seriously.
I find that a line of castles/towers can do the trick but more often than not it's more convenient to just use all that stone to build an (upgraded) wall from end-to-end, 'specially when w/ a Maya or Chinese ally!
Usually CA or EEW or Hussars don't come with petards or any kind of siege, so by the time they try to take down the wall they are well countered with zero trade cart losses.
How do you prefer to do it?
And is there something particular that you want to point out when sea-trading?
There are players that don't built an end-to-end wall, and I'd like to know why that'd be a bad idea.
