Hello AoC world! :D
I am a young AoC player (started in december 2011), so I don't really know how people manage to balance the issues of the real life with their passion for gamming.
I just finished high-school last summer, I didn't go to university this year and been working only sporadicly so I had a lot of time to play AoC since july 2012. (been playing like 5 hours/day)
But starting this autumn, I'm gonna continue my studies, so I will have less time to play.
That's why I want to get answers to the following questions (that I'm gonna answer myself first)
1.How old are you?
- Turning 20 next month
2.How long have you been playing AoE?
- 1 year and 4 months
3.What do you do in your real life (study/work....etc.)
- Had a free year. Preparing for the university.
4.How much do you play (daily or weekly?
- I spend 4/5 hours playing, watching recs or discussing AoC issues everyday
5.If you work or study, how do you balance it with gaming?
- When i was in H-School, i didn't play constantly, and had nothing to do with voobly or AoCZone, but it still had a bad impact upon my grades. Anyway, if it wouldn't have been AoC, that it would have been Fifa or Assassin's Creed, or movies... you know what I'm talking about. It's easy to find ways to waste your nights
6.What does your familly think about the time you spend playing?
- My parents don't like this, obviously, but they let me make my own choiches and decisions in life...
7.Do you see yourself playing video games after 20 years?
- Honestly, I don't... But it also depends on the job I'll have and the direction my life will be heading to. Probably, as a musician, I will have enough spare time, but I don't think I'll enjoy the games as much as I do now.
I know there was already a topic (made by Ares, if i'm not wrong) where people have given detalies about their age and how does AoC and gaming in general affect their relationships, but i'm aiming to something different
EDIT: With question 7 i mean 20 years later - in 2033. And not necesarrily AoC, as it will pretty surely be dead by than, but any video game...
