So, I was playing AoC with a couple of friends the other day and it turned out I was the only one who watched pro games and knew some common strategies. In the end the others decided we would have a 3v1 against me next time. My friends do a lot of very nooby stuff, but not being close to a good player myself I expect a 3v1, even against players worse than me, to be pretty hard.
What would you guys propose as a strategy?
My first thought was to go for a fc because I am faster than the others and could knight rush them or something like that. But is that even possible to pull of effectivly against three other players? Or would perhaps a flush be better to keep them down as quickly as possible? I am just afraid I couldnt do enough damage on 3 fronts to make it worth the recources spend. One of the three tends to turtle by stone walling in early feudal, so this could be a problem for raiding with feudal units.
I already checked some 3v1 replays, mainly by the viper. But these pro games do not apply, as I have close to no micro skills at all and my friends/enemies act nooby some times which the vipers opponents do not (for all I know every single one of them would kick my ass pretty badly).
It would be nice to hear some suggestions from you! Also regarding which map would be the most in my favor, because I will probably get to pick the map.
Thanks for any ideas :D
