Hello !
I´ve recently come across many comments which include phrases like "They should ban you" / "U need ip ban" / "are you going to make a meaningful post some day?".
I think it´s best for the whole community to get rid of those toxic players who rip the community apart and make this lovely aoczone into a rubble of spam.
My suggestion is that if lets say 20 users initiate a vote on a user who is only trolling or throwing in negative comments or ruining the rules that this forum has then it´s time to make a vote for a IP ban.
I think IP ban is the best, because timeout can maybe make one softer but still their core will remain the same always unless a miracle happens and we all know what are the odds that a miracle of that kind takes place.
The hardest question remains to be answered: What is the number of votes needed to ban one person ? I don´t know about aoczone traffic, but my idea doesn´t take it into account - I´d say this number should be 100. If a person makes 100 people press "yes", because he is clearly acting outside of the rules and damaging the community he should have no part in it.
There should be an extra section just for it with votes being counted as users post their "yes" or applications there, it should be added that an user which is younger than lets say 6 months should not get a right to vote.
What do you think about it ? Anyone who has something construtive to say - please, don´t hold it back, your idea can make this community better !
Regards,
Hagar
