No, moderators are not the samePoor choice of moderators by aoczone and voobly too if they are the same.
Censoring the topic accomplishes nothing except perhaps to fuel your own ignorance. I for one am very curious about this topic, I'd even like to hear from ertuG or whoever themselves. If you don't want to discuss it then let the rest of us and ignore it!
I don't know the whole situation but I question if anyone did anything too bad that they deserve this treatment. I question it because I've experienced firsthand the huge wrath that the normal users often have towards "hackers". Most hacking of games is for FUN and CHALLENGE. It's hard, it takes hours of deciphering code and seeing what you can change without breaking anything else. Nobody makes cheats because they want to be #1, all hackers are intelligent enough to realize if they are giving themselves this advantage then their rating doesn't mean anything. Most of the time they are experts at the game without needing cheats, they know it inside out which enables them to understand how to modify it.
Sometimes power hungry moderators use hackers as scapegoats to create drama and sway opinion of the normal users. I know I've got threads of hate mail in the past for things I didn't even do, just because it worked nicely for someone to blame them on me. In my experience, usually hackers are cool people and aren't out to seriously harm anyone unless they get provoked into it. In my experience the best way to treat hackers is to just let them be, accept them into your community along with their gift and you can coexist. If something needs to change to make the game better or such then it's up to you to fix it on your end, and if you are on good terms with these people then they'll most likely help you out.
