+1, though for me, even seeing double civs (2 vikings, 2 huns etc) is just as bad. Reminds me of WCL1 11. I am waiting for a finals game where triple mayan is picked on arena
As for the games, congratz
to VN on the win and kudos to TheJedi for a really impressive season. (but boo to no Jose in the final, damn coyote 11  )
And thanks to BlackAdder for the great coverage as always!
Thanks, and congrats to TheJedi for 2nd place, very much diserved after a great season.
In my opinion maps were fine(probably not my favourites but still), about the sling it happens in arabia as it happens in 95% of the maps, plus picking civs with a vikings on a serious mood slinging transition is a must, I believe maps were cool, the second set map choices were even better, unluckily (or luckily) we didn´t get to play them rather than vs nC and sling only happened on G1 by both teams but ours was kind of more civ determinant.
Overall nerfing sling is a greater idea. Repeating civs is something i honestly don´t like aswell, but it was a plus for us because we abused it more properly than other opponents as I see things.
I would suggest picking a bigger variety of maps and taking out HM´s as an option atleast to try on future seasons, adding MR/BR/mappacks this seasons changes were good increasing the number of games already from 1/8 finals as a 2-1 doesn´t really tells you who diserves more to go threw.
In any case I want to add that as a friendly clan VN is we´ve tried with many difficulties to win a single RTSL(battling mostly with shining RVK team, CZ´s nC´s and PoJ on several moments for a big number of seasons(and many others)) it was a "dream" for me since i started playing, I remember not being able to play last final VN participated on because I had planed my vacations already so it felt good to firstly play and of course win it despite not being a major tournament when you participate without a full of stars setted team it just feels better.
Thank you BlackAdder for the persistance on time on such a greatly organized tournament, this wouldn´t have been possible if people with such dedication wouldn´t be there to keep this coming for all of us the community, you are entering Season nº 40 of organising RTSL and it´s simply madness, hats off.
