When you are a meso-civ with no scouts, going for feudal pressure can be a lot harder than playing a western or asian civ. If I am going feudal pressure at all, my end goal is to go into archers, but I need a preliminary scout rush to buy me time until I can attain the wood I need for 2x ranges and a gold mine, with enough left over to make archers, and to have enough vils on gold. I have tried delaying my farms as much as possible, but it seems I can't get out the archers on time, even when I up to feudal at 21 pop. Should I just take everyone off food altogether when I click up, and trust that Ill have enough food to make vils?
The straight archer build is 24 vils but this is so rare bc drushing is a much better option. If u dont drush you will likely find you cannot build archers cause your opponent has milita or scouts on your gold.
