I'm asking because I'm curious. Why expert players gather units in building f.e.: Scouts in Stable? To prevent from seeing how much army they have? To suprise when enemy army is attacking?
well, when they're inside the builiding..
enemy doens't know what unit you have, (example, skir or archer), how much army, and what upgrades your army got.
also, sometimes it's best to just hide some units, until you have "time" to manage them in the right way..
IF you're thinking of castles, castles can fire more arrows with units inside, and also heal injured units..
IF you are talking about docks.. ships can just left the docks in 1 way, ( to the water! )
so if your enemy has 10 ships atacking 3 of your docks, and you don't have enough army to fight, you should just create your ships and keep them inside the dock until you got enough army to repel enemy atack.
Necessary in a lot of scenarios. A lone scout built will get shot down by 10 archers in no time. But 6 that have been safe in the stables come out together and wreak havoc.
