Some implications of the new civs and changes
Franks are improved with the new chivalry tech. Increases the building of knights by 50%
Slavs are extremely powerful with that, last I checked, +5 pop for each military building. And I think that was a team bonus. But I don't know if they still have that.
Britons UT Warwolf gives trebs a blast radius. This has extreme implications but I don't know how big this radius is. Like all other blast radiuses, you can assume anything directly hit takes the full (200) damage, but now anything in the vicinity will take a lot - don't have numbers yet for that.
Vikings UT Chieftains makes Viking berserks more powerful vs knights. This is the only improvement - Taking Vikings against Mongols (or archers and siege weapons) is still not recommended.
Teutonic siege weapons are now armored. It's an interesting change and one that won't be understood fully till put into practice. I also question if their rams still have a hidden negative melee armor? So it blocks 5 actual hack attack, but units will still do a minimum of 3 or so damage?
Italians are just going to be awesome based on their tech tree, units, and bonuses. I'm not sure if Turks might still be better, though. Then again, condottieri!
Note: Italians are going to be a Turks worst Nightmare. Condotierri means a lot.
Huns and Goths don't have treadmill crane anymore
All civs are going to build stone wall slower now.
Koreans are building their fortifications 25% faster - Castles, Bombard towers, walls will be up pretty fast. They also get treadmill crane, if I recall.
