Hussar's wing, Cliff graphic is restored.
is there a way to use this new buildings in AOC1.4?
You can play offline, too. Just download "AOFE 3.1 Eng.exe", select your AoE2 installation folder and run it. After it's finished, you can launch %age2_x1\age2_x2.exe. Bear in mind: it overwrites any existing AoFE versions, such as 2.1 or 2.2. You'd have to run the previous AoFE installer to revert again, if I'm not mistaken.is there an offline download or I can only play it through voobly?
well, some changes are unnecessary (like extra pierce armor for woads and making conquerors weaker), but the rest is really good; Is it possible to get a list with the changes from AoC 1.4 to AoFE 3.1?This version is by far superior than aoc and aofe some changes are very good, i would like to play because of the graphics but no ones play this game in voobly, force it like an update for the AoF mod and make it rated, then host a 1x1 steel series or tg tourneys supported by voobly and it will atract more players, this version can be the future due the graphics update, no lagg on it, and fresh changes, reducing the strenght of the OP civs and uping a little the underdogs with new variety of civs.

YEAH! Is it possible to make a mod, like pussywood (aka small trees), which changes only the building set of the civcs?
right, i played one game just to view the graphics as they really are. The architecture look very pretty in general, and gives more sense to the culture of the Civs. I dont understand why AOFE team mentioned there was a limit in architecture sets, because i see so many variety now.
Quality is good, however i have a few remarks:
- in some cases the colors and textures feel a little bit "plastic/saturated", not fitting with the gritty and detailed AOC style graphics. Examples: the viking wooden roofs, Magyar TC roof. In other cases, like the Slavic Siege Workshop with its grey weathered wooden roof, it totally hits the spot. I like this more realistic rendering, like the Indian architecture set.
- in some cases the new architecture is a bit messy. I do appreciate all the time and effort and i will certainly play it, but in some cases there is a lack in proportion / harmony / unity or texture quality. I find myself saying quite harsh words now, so i will try to make clear where i am pointing at:
My comments here concern the Imperial Architecture of these civs:
(i might comment on units later, i can just say, in general many changed units look a bit less detailed or less sharp then the original AOE units)
Aztec: unchanged (i do really love the look of the Elite Eagle Warrior)
Britons: I like the roof texture. The castle however, i do not really understand the change. The original castle is pretty much a replica of the tower of London, which you might very well call British i assume. That church is a nice idea, but doesnt look finished yet. It looks too 19th-century, i would be more convinced by something like %20-%20south%20ormsby%207.JPG" target="_blank" class="link link--external" rel="nofollow ugc noopener">http://www.english-church-architect...th ormsby/C - lincs - south ormsby 7.JPG
Byzantines: Nice castles, unique and characteristic. Are the other buildings changed? It all looks a bit brown-brown to me, could use a subtle hue variation in the textures.
Celts: Looks nice, good colors. I loved it at first sight. The castle and market really surprised me in their quality. I wished all buildings had this castle stone texture. I think there is an perspective issue, mainly with the houses, it looks like they come from a 3D setup, not isometric projection like AOC is.
Chinese: Oh this is really China! Great architecure, detail, textures. The colours, well, i know they used bright colors, but in some cased it could be dimmed a little just to blend in the game better. Without making it dull, just deeper, darker color. But overall great addition, good work!
Franks: unchanged
Goths: unchanged
Huns: unchanged
Inca's: Unique and architecturally correct +++, but a bit unsharp and not uniform, for example in the top of the TC, it look like that structure had been scaled up without justifying textures. Also: the roof texture could use a finishing touch, sharper, lighter maybe, to make it the entire town layout better readable. Nice addition overall, but 90% finished
Indians: Awesome, i love it. Very natural and convincing. Ev en a bit strange and exotic for non-indians, but that might be because of us.
Italians: I am still not convinced by some elements in this set, like the Castle and the Bombard Tower. It has a nice architectural touch, mainly because of the roofs (which could be a little bit more red), but it just lacks a bit in uniqueness, like the Korean and Indian set do so well. The TC can use a makeover as well, i dont like the white ridges in the roof.
Japanese: Unchanged
Koreans: Absolutely awesome, surprisingly natural, convincing, unique and AOE-like. The perfect colors are very natural and harmonious and well to read. Totally fits the game and a great gain for the game!
Magyars: All this brown hurt my eyes. I would love to see the stone be more grey-brown, and the roofs have more light-dark contrast. I dont really understand the TC and University roof material, it might get a better feel if it was more textured. Architecture in general is decent, but not very unique, much like the slavs. Which is not bad in itself, but why dont they share a common architecture at all?
Mayans: Unchanged
Mongols: Unchanged
Persians: Unchanged, the monk: change is allright, but looks a bit plain / undetailed
Saracens: Unchanged, the monk: change is allright, but looks a bit plain / undetailed
Slavs: Oh please, why does not have the TC that quality of the Siege Workshop? TC, houses and castles lack contrast / dark tones, and that roof texture of the Siege workshop could fit a lot more buildings (i believe it did originally, but it was a little bit to grey then). Those houses, well, they are a bit too "barbie" to me, not natural in style. Overal, a set which is mixed in quality, which has some good elements like the Castle and the Siege Workshop and that awesome monastery. But it needs balancing out and some touches.
Spanish: I like most of the architecture shapes very much, like the TC and stable, whith a few exeptions: the house which looks too much like a modern standard housing project, in other word: misses cultural uniqueness. Other bad case is the castle: it is such a strange thing, like these dream-castles they made in the 19th century.
In general: the colors are too much of on orange-brown blur, i think it could benefet very much with more white plaster, like in the monastery. (especially in the TC) It would be very Spanish-like i think, and emphasize the beautiful shapes.
Teutons: Unchanged
Turks: no architecture change. Janissary looks better!
Vikings: Wood colors too unnatural saturated and dark, architecture: quite strange and unfamiliar to me, does not look viking (browse google image search for "viking architecture" and you will wooden longhouses with pointy roofshttps://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/...zaVD2S2oTbXkdnT2yYDRTOyedUIFb1r9Otzo_eaXvCwhe, small houses with grass roofs great TC building models https://twayneheeter.files.wordpress.com/2013/04/421.jpg. You know, Viking country is very rainy and flat roofs dont work there. The roofs need to be pointy to drain away the rain and snow load. And that castle, it does not have that viking feeling. Vikings used earthworks a lot in their military strongholds. Here a picture of a rare Viking castle: https://folkestonejack.files.wordpress.com/2012/06/york_01.jpg
I know i might sound a bit strict and exacting at some points. I do not mean any negativity by it, i just want to point out ways to make it even better, if you might even consider to work on it. I think, if you have have done such an effort to do this all, you deserve a thorough and honest criticism.
Feel free to dispute my comments.

This is a enhancement mod done for fun with buildings taken from various sources, historically accurate would be nice but as long as they look different from each other it should be fine.
Id like to see a new monk added for the slaves and byzantines to represent the orthodox monks. Also change the generic unit graphics that are using duplicate's of other units eg. Archer of the eyes/genitor/spy
