Most of you have probably played one-two or way too many games on HD... and got burned. By bugs. It's no surprise to anyone why voobly remains the de-facto standard as a competitive platform. Yet, if you look at it from the technological standpoint - HD should be what Dota2 is and has been to Dota, or Starcraft2 to Starcraft, or sims4 to the old sims. You get the analogy.
I still play on HD from time to time to have a nice and relaxed noob-squabble. It's playable, nothing more. Microsoft seems to not care and everything seems to be in the hands of SkyBox Labs - a small team with probably way too much workload. I'm not sure how their development and testing process looks like, but I think something has to change. More people? More resources? The community is more than eager to get involved. If HD was a success, I think everyone will win - Microsoft gets into e-sports and make more m$ney, we get to play new civs, in new ways and hopefully HD could attract more players to this great game.
