Yes but then it doesnt depend only in the viewer conection, if you have for example 1mb upload and you want to use 1.5mb bit rate of course it is gona lag, my problem here is that i have now 3mbupload and im using THE SAME bit rate i used to use before with my old internet and it should not be lagging at all, the problem here is from me to the server, not the server to the viewers.Yes, I know what you mean. You want to switch to Own3d because you can use more bitrate and have visually better stream and it wont lag for you.
But as I explained earlier, if you increase your bitrate that means that your viewers also need to have better connection. I could stream with 8000 bitrate, but then only people with 10+ mb download would be able to see it without freezing and lag. That's why I used 800 bitrate before the partnership and the quality was ok'ish.
I think you do have a problem with Twitch.tv and should change if you can't stream with 800-1200 bitrate. But if you can, then I don't see any reason to change at this point because you can't really stream higher bitrate without your viewers suffering about it when there's no resolution options. For example if I streamed at 2500 bitrate before partnership, a lot of people wouldn't be able to watch it.
But for sure you should test it with people who had problems with Twitch earlier. Just remember to keep the test unbiased and keep the bitrates same and if you had problems at only certain time, then test it that time.
lol feage nice post 11FeAge ----- Problem ---- Server
