Hello geniuses of aoczone. I need some help from you guys.
I was in the middle of making a post about my aoc lags when I accidently stumbled across the answer by forgetting to render in 32-bit after I reinstalled voobly for like the 4th time. If you care to read what I began to write you have it below in the spoiler.
Anyway, after figuering out what caused the lag on my own I have follow-up question.
Why does rendering in 32-bits all of a sudden make my aoc lag like hell? I have been rendering in 32-bits and using windowed mode since like 2010 - 2011 or so. It's now at least playable for me, but I still prefer to have it windowed mode (also the spectator overlay looks messed up without 32 bits). What is weird is that it just happend over night as well. Everything was working perfect in the weekend, and then it started lagging on monday.
People who know a lot more about hard- and software, please help me out!

Aoc-version:
I could have posted this in the WK thread, but I am not 100% sure its related to that. To begin with I was about to go for live-support on voobly because I thought it was voobly related. But I later discovered it was lagging equally bad on HD when I launched through Steam. I've always had the CD-disc and that has been the version I've been using for voobly, but ever since the release of WK it has switched over to the steam version and is now using that.
The lag:
It's like a really weird scrolling speed lag and it stutters a lot. If I join and late spectate a game it cant fast forward and catch up, just freezes and jumps forward sometimes. I cant scroll around properly and it seems to be a quite large delay on the mouse as well. For examle I move the mouse to the right and stop, but the cursor keeps on moving to the right for a few ms more (really hard for me to estimate time, but all I know its just not normal). It lags like this is and is basically unplayable when I play through voobly (spectate, launch normal game vs AI, launch in singleplayer through voobly) and when I tried on Steam HD as well. But when I launch aoc through my CD-disc everything works normal.
It's not only aoc lagging during all of this, it slows my entire computer down and I cant browse chrome properly for example,
because it's scroll lag there was well. Everything goes back to normal after I shut down the game. No other game makes my computer do this.
