Eagle Warrior Cup! IS HERE!

With the success of the Eagle Scout Cup which has its live finals today at 16 GMT we would like to kick off the next 1v1 style tournament called the Eagle Warrior Cup will be hosted by difftom and myself and is for under 1550 1v1 elo!

all you will need to know is in this doc that i have attached!! games will be streamed by a few casters including myself and everything will be done through an active discord if you can not join the discord for any reason and would like to participate feel free to direct message me here

My twitch layout is aztec themed and the first tournament in this series was eagle scout this being higher elo turns onto eagle warriors then will be elite

Looking good, will definitely participate if I have the time, just some small feedback:

• Won't really matter but rules book should have rules about laming (boar, stragglers)
• Map Draft?
• 10 Maps besides Arabia, not map pools. Reads a bit confusing
• Speaking of these, I think 11 maps are too many for a tournament this ELO range. Players won't have a strategy or BO for each map prepared which can lead to very unbalanced games. And looking at the maps, many are somewhat similar so I don't really see the need for that many maps. With a B07 final, personally I would go with 7 different maps.
• I think you want to hide civilisations in the lobby settings 11

Yes albiet their is a civ draft it is hide civs if I missed that in the pdf thank you for pointing that out as well

Since we are seeding by elo top seed(higher elo) hosts and drafts first including picking map and civ first there will be an excel to keep track or picked maps and civ drafts etc.

As of now everything is open to standard play just as you would in an rm match but if its a big concern we can change some things around

Size of the map pool was mainly too accommodate finals bo7 and not being forced to play every map in the pool gives them a bit of diversity in the end albiet yes beginning rounds will have a big option which is understandable
I think either way you slice it not every match will be a competitive one as its seeding by elo but we are fully ready for some upsets

Straggler tree laming is typically not allowed within a certain distance of an enemy TC unless it's part of a wall. It's a standard thing which should be banned in tournaments because players can deny each other resources without any means of stopping it.

I've seen it in a few tournaments wasnt sure why it was a big deal tho tbh I can change it tho to ban it thank you for seconding his comment

Thank you man!!! This is the third one I've hosted they have all been fun and brought something new to the table learned from each one both play wise and pure game knowledge casting the games is always fun

the round from eliminations until finals can be differentiate into 3 stages which is same as from eagle scout - eagle warrior - elite eagle warrior.. something like that...
