1. Your foreseeable future must be pretty short. Currently have 3 A-tier tournaments ongoing (RoTC, DWL, RF3) and several tournaments announced for this year (Jordan tournament in April/May, Battle of Africa this summer, KoTD5 this fall)- there are no big tournaments planned for foreseeable future
- even if they were being planned there is no activity from different player streams to create awareness/hype about tournaments
- most of the player streams are BF games these days. I love BF but not everyone
- almost all the top aoe2 players are competing for aoe4 money, don't blame them
I just want to be realistic my expectations for future. Aoe2 won't die but it's very likely we are back to 2010-12 times
I wouldn't be too surprised if Hidden Cup is on aoe4 because MS is willing to fund it
2. Don't know why we need to hype tournaments that are happening in the summer or fall when streamers and casters are still playing/casting ongoing tournaments?
3. LONG LIVE THE REIGN OF BEEFEE!
4. Glad AoE2 players are competing for whatever money they can get that allows them to keep streaming
5. Wasn't 2010-2012 times like $100 showmatches? AoE2 will easily see $100k prize pool this year, and $200-$250k isn't a stretch (given the commitments from Memb and T90 saying he will spend at least another $75k this year on prize pools in his masmorra interview)
6. T90 has already said Hidden Cup won't be on AoE4, and also LITERALLY never streams AoE4. Dude is exclusively AoE2 content and has been for months
