Hi community. There is a question. I need a recommendation for comparing my new PC. I want to play and stream AoC without any freezes and lags. I understand that video card is not very important and I will buy sth like 1050ti. But what about processor, RAM, webcamera, etc.?
I didn't know anything about PC at all, then I decided to buy separate parts and put it together! It was a very nice experience (did get some things wrong at first), and I liked it overall, so I recommend the feeling
I stream at 1080p perfectly fine, and can run any game I like with this settings. It wasn't too expensive, and I feel like any less would have been bad, and any more would have been unnecessary excess for me at least!
As for Microphone I use the Razer's Headset , it seems like a good enough quality for now, don't use any webcam.
For workstation stuff like streaming and rendering AMD CPU’s seem to be much more cost efficient compared to intel builds.
Ryzen 2600 seem to be the go to budget cpu out of the new ryzen 2 series and has the best price to performance i think it should even handle 1080p 60fps pretty easily? It also comes with decent enough stock cooler so you don’t need to bother with buying one yourself as you would need with intel CPU’s.
I personally went with the 2700X which has seemed for me so far to have been real overkill, even with 1080 60fps that thing barely even needs to do anything.
When it comes to intel builds the thing is you need more expensive motherboards and coolers to gain overclocking features as with the K models you gain alot with overclocking but i’ve heard that going with cheapest motherboards and non K models would even be better in terms of price to performance.
When it comes to GPU that purely depends on your needs, if you don’t play or plan on playing any new GPU heavy titles then i would even look to the used markets now for even older cards. For new ones probably 1660 or 2060 i think if you can get 1050ti cheap it is perfectly fine asswell
In the end it comes down to your budget and your needs
