i think most players dont boom chinese, as it negates the huge advantage they have in fast attacking...maybe if im bored and have time i can do 1player china boom on 5b...if u want
sure, thot i dont necessarily recommend that strat! china very versatile and deadly on LN, that doesnt play to its strengths, ie archery/and speed bonus on LN. but if its wat u want ok
well, i'd take fc+x-bow and rams as well...its just im gonna play 2v1 vs friends of mine. i never beat them so far and thats why im trying LN with chinese^^ i tought ill kill 1 of them with eraly imp and wall against the other...and later its 1v1 ^^ thats my gameplan at least 11
but new strategies are most welcome!
btw...im barley 17++ and my friends are about 15++ and 16++
so this is not for a commin LN game...just for me^^
THX anyway!!!
reach feudal. one stable (make scouts) in the interim when u get wood make another stable and do bloodlines. and hit your opponent hard (they wont' castle until like 18-19mins) and you get time of around 2-3 mins to kill them or at least they won't b able to mine gold or the anything else. but I would really like to see how to imp with chin on ln and flood the opponents base with champs or with something else. Please post the record when prodigy is done showing
should i add archers as well?? or try only scouts? will i be up faster with or without archers?? i'd really like to know what prodigy thinks about it^^
or maybe just go fc and then play a flush with x-bow and rams and just 1 TC this could work out as well....ofc i have to wall my eco...no question about that!!!
ill prob make the boom rec in a few. but in reference to the newer posts...
you are 1v2 vs 2 of your 'noob' fds...well depending how good of noobs they are...i think there are a few options
1. chutta suggest doing scouts, which isnt a bad idea - i mean surely you can kkill 1 doing this np...but doing fast sc really slows ur castle time - and it can be tricky there.. so if i WERE to do scouts i maybe only would do 4-5 and then try to up ASAP , around 21-23 probably is doable.. and then kts heavy(2 stable lots of kts,and maybe fwdmonk/siege), any heavy rush (monk/siege/pike or combo) or kts light and boom (making max of like 10-12 to raid, while being able to do 2 tcs asap and boom from the 3 tcs)
2. you can do usual feudal and set up for kts castle and do 4 scouts while ur castling to hit 1 really early, then continue KTS strong OR some fast kts but not many while focusing on booming a bit.
3. my fav and best LN strat - the mini boom, not typically good in 1v1 or 1v2 lol - but being u are much better than them - if u have enough distance u could pull this off - and a well done mini boom is one of the best LN strats.
alot of times when im china in 3v3/4v4 i usually do 2 stable fast kts - and try to hurt someone early, typically ill do that but wont go full kts - so i focus on eco too and try to imp around 34-38 having made 10-15 kts early in castle and raided. then switch to watever unit is smart to do in imperial. if 3v3 or i want to do aggressive style i will do kts/siege/monk fwd and maybe switch to pikes/siege - but that is focusing on 1 person. and i say switch to pike because often if ur china - ppl will spear/pike or monk defend - so kts arent effective.
the beauty of aoc is that it is a very situational game...i could go on and on about diff possible strats lol, but i wont. ill try to get that rec done today - tho if u 17+ u can probably do a pretty good job improvising, as i dont think ive ever boomed china on LN for champs.
ok...2 issues here...1 i cant do single player LN - enemy resigns having no idea wtf to do, and 2 the superfood LN i have also has I THINK vills i can find like sheep? wtf
haha...well it works for me vs comp. though they dont build anything..they just walk around^^ but its good enough for me! i use ln_refix_5b as map...dunno if that means anything to you
well thx anyway for your opinion...id still appreciate it if you can manage it to create a rec...
i was searching for some but due to my special situation here its hard to find some for my needs !!!
well..the bet is that i can choose the map and my own civ....they play random civ!!! i was trying islands with vik...and it was really close. unfortuanely i gave them my buildorder and know its gonna be hard for me maybe i have an advantage of some minutes but most of the time i cant use it, cause i dont find them in time...anyway...
maybe you have an idea for the settings i should use vs them (tactics included) hahaha ^^

id say ur best bet is a landmap, i played vs my brother and a few of his dorm mates circa 2004, i was 1850-2k level and they were probably 1550-1620ish (my brother) and the others 1400ish...i demolished them i think it was ara and i may have been goth i think....possibly hun. i dont have any recs from my zone days unfortunately , i think we did 1v2 which i won then a 1v3-4 which i won, however the added players were complete noobs..having only played on lan/1player - besides my older bro who played online in early aoc days - before me.
if you have time, prodigy....
i would really like to see chinese on normal nomade.
i was thinking a rec for a really fast castle +x-bow....maybe with 4-5 scouts in feudal if you have fun to rec a game i would highly appreciate it...
i just watched the other and i think ill def gonna try the boom dont have much to loose....just one thing....do you really need 25 dark and 27 pop in feudal?
this i my usual buildorder on normal maps...but for there is a lot of food...i thought i will go less on wood and make no farms and i can be up maybe with 22 and 24 and still get 3 tc running as soon as im castle.....
no u dont NEED, wat i did was a very general boom, with china u can do mayb 22 and for sure 23-24 vil up, then in feud make 1 or 2 vills and be fine- on that 5b map
