dunno.. if you compare how much he plays now in SC2 and how much he played AoC ... maybe then it really is "casual" ?

In one of those videos he said he wanted a car and that it doesn't have to be good or anything 1111
I didn't think that pro-video gamers had such a tough life! .. I think I will keep my job! :P
Definitely bad paid job, if you think there are millions of people who play sc2 (I don't know exact figures), I guess only the top 100 will get some money out of it, and even then only the top 10 will make some serious money. It's like anything where there is a serious competition between people, only a select few will make enough to make a living out of it.

U are right, but u now how many not get into any mediocre team ? Of course there are thousans professional players, but there are more that not get in any team .SUD_Elixir: Lol, football is like the worst example you could have given. Actually, any mediocre level soccer player is paid well, even here in Slovakia theres like thousands of professional football players who play soccer for a living.
Football, tennis, soccer, basketball, mma - these are the sports in which there actually is some money.
Now compare that to gymnasts, weightlifters, shot putters, figure skaters and so on, in these sports even the very best athletes out there are getting paid almost nothing for being one of the billions.
there's way more than 100 pros at sc2. obviously most of them don't make some big money, but they still get paid for playing a game.. doesn't sound that bad to me.
here's a list of the top 50 pros: http://www.sc2earnings.com/.. obviously they're the absolute top, but even the pros not on that list still can make living of sc2.. they get paid for coaching, streaming, showmatches..
so it's not really that underpaid job.. and as i said already, they get paid for playing a pc game ffs.
