Ok,sorry for trolling but this includes balance about everything. I'm sorry for not crediting everyone and sorry everyone for stealing some(actually a lot) of your ideas!
Some ideas to balance AoE2
General changes:
1.TCs+2 LOS-no one likes a bad start.Takes some luck out of the game.
2.Outposts don't cost stone-just needed
3.M@A and up +5% speed
4.Heated shots costs 200F,100G
5.Camels reclassified into separate class from ships.Suffer +5 damage from towers and castles,but are 25% more resistant to conversion.Does not suffer from heated shot damage.
6.Fires ships +5% faster than galley line.
7.Demo ships,petards,sabotuers reclassified into camels class.
8.Siege rams hp reduced to 250
9.Heavy scorpions+1 range,costs 750F,800W
AZTECS
1.Military units produced 15% faster starting Feudal age.Still the best drush and still good at it.
2.Free loom restored.This means they can't risk more TC idle time.The cost of drush is that if you can't damage your enemy's eco,you'll ruin your own.Its not a free lunch.
BRITONS
1.Warwolf removed,new UT-Hoblears-LC,Hussars +15HP,+1 armor,+1 bonus vs huskarls(=anti archer units/infantry?).Cost:400F,350G.
2.Yeomen adds +10% accuracy.
BYZANTINES
1.Greek fire available in dock without castle,adds extra accuracy/ROF for fire-ships.
CELTS
1.Wood-cutting bonus reduced to 8%.
2.Infantry move 15% faster starting Feudal age.
CHINESE
1.Gets bombard cannon(no other way to realisticly counter SOs)
