Ayre Mid-Level Series 1 - Arabia

Attention all gamers!

Ayre Esports is excited to announce a brand new tournament. This will be a 1v1 tournament for players of all levels of skill up to a limit of 2100 elo. The first edition of our Mid-Level Series events will be played entirely on Arabia. This is to lead up to the upcoming Ayre Masters Series II: Arabia tournament. Mid-Level Series is designed to give players who are not yet as skilled as the pros an opportunity to play on very similar settings to that of expert players, and to then be able to compare themselves to higher level players and learn from them.

Ayre Mid-Level Series 1 - Arabia will be entirely hosted on the Ayre Esports discord server. All rules, settings and registrations will happen there, so make sure to join our discord and participate in our very first mid elo event.

Please can we move away from this trend of requiring people to join Discord servers just to read the rules/settings for a tournament? I completely support using Discord for managing admin (scheduling, tournament updates etc.), but it's a pain to have to constantly be joining/leaving servers just to find out if a tournament is worth signing up for in the first place. Please could handbooks and relevant info be shared on AoEZone, either in the thread or as a pdf link or similar as a standard practice?

P.S. Sorry to pick your tournament out for this - it's not a targeted gripe, just yours is the latest I've happened to see with this requirement.

Completely understandable. For future I will use a more standard handbook/pdf format for rules and settings. I simply used it because it is the easiest way I could think of to make adjustments to rules if needed, but I understand the annoyance things like that may cause and will make it more user friendly for future tournaments.
