Clarification,
Moving the mouse pointer around in-game is all fine and candy, but it all goes to hell when you start making boxes (to select more units). There's still the annoying latency issue that plagues the game. The drag and dropping simple feels awfully heavy and slow. Try holding the left click down while expanding/inflating the select box. Maybe some people don't notice, but it's simply not debatable as an issue.
Non-optimal mouse performance in a heavy macro/micro game is a failure. It has to feel good to use the mouse.
Vsync is of course turned off.
The original game doesn't suffer from this symptom and neither doesn't any other serious micro/macro game like SCII, Dota 2 and (insert 99% of other games here). It's very important, basic stuff that's not optimal here.
