I was taking a look at the second unique technollogy that each civilization have in the Forgotten Empires expansion and I think that some of them should have been given to other civis instead the ones they're currently available. I'll share with you some of my thoughts, feel free to critisize or eulogize
Britons' second UT is Warwolf (Trebuchets do blast damage) and Japaneses' second UT is Yasama (towers fire extra arrows). I think it should be opposite, Japaneses with Warwolf and Britons with Yasama. Why? Japaneses have already the fast packing/unpacking Trebuchets, the blast damage really suits their Trebuchets and make them even more useful. Some may say that they would become overpowered, but since Japaneses don't have Siege Ram, Siege Onager, Bombard Cannon, I think that it shouldn't be a problem. Britons would be good with Yasama because their towers have extra range and by the time and if they were capable of throwing extra arrows they would really be worth building.
Saracens' second UT is Madrasah (killed Monks return 33% their gold). This can be very useful on Monk Rush, but in late games, Saracens have better units than using Monks. Monks are useful when converting powerful units, like Palladins, and Saracen can counter them with camels/Mamelukes. I think that Madrasah should have be given to Aztecs, whom have more chances of using Monks. Just imagine their bulky Monks dying and returning gold, they would pop out from Monasteries without stopping, so enemy should switch his Palladin army to Hussar/Light Calvary. And that relic gold bonus also helps on Monk producing. Some could suggest that Spanish's second UT (Monks convert fast) should be given to Aztecs instead, but having Monks with extra HP is enough, I don't think that they don't need to convert quickly.
Turks' second UT is Sipahi (Calvary Archer gain 20% extra HP). Well, playing online for 8 months I never saw any Turk player using Calvary Archer and to be honest, by having Hand Cannoners and Jannissaries, Turks don't need to use anyother range unit. I think that Sipahi suits very well on Mongols' Calvary Archer instead that useless bad-copy Huns house bonus... For matters of balance, Sipahi would affect only Calvary Archer, not Mangudais because that would make Mangudais overpowered. How many times did you see Mongols using Calvary Archer? I rarely see that because Mangudai is a lot better, but if your castles are razed or if you have only 1 castle left, you cannot mass Mangudai like before, so Calvary Archer with 20% extra HP would become more useful to a Mongol player, since they would become similar on HP to a Mangudai, although not on power. Sipahi would be also very welcome on Huns, but on Mongols it shines their never-used Calvary Archer.
To end up, I didn't make this thread to ask for those changes. No, I shared this with you only for fun. Moreover, if UT were switched among the civilizations, their names would also needed to be changed, since you could not have Yasama on Britons cause that word is Japanese  . The name should be kept, only the name was going to be changed.
