start with 150 gold = skip loom, feudal, do a fast trush, while making 3 archers at archery. This is completely within the spirit of 'resource equalisation', a strat from aOE that sent 3 bowmen at your enemy while you crappily bronzed. would it work? i have no idea, try it out.

use market to sell 200 stone for gold. you now have a little over 250 gold if you have 50 leftover from dark. All this without a mining camp - and vils that ordinarily would mine gold to get it, were working at lumber or food instead. ur job now is to figure out what to do with this.
personally I'd make archers or scouts or just fc (altho no miningcamp wtf lol probably not a good idea)

kick ass with your m@a flush or even use militia - buildings (except tc) are weaker until castle age and this is very evident when attacked by m@a or militia. To see what I mean

also I've heard hunting dogs is a good boost to japs, plus they get bloodlines now

but. 2 tower rush right off the bat, no need for more stone (assuming towers get stone bonus)
I'm less afraid of having 25 hp vils, you had those in AOe and I got used to it. my sanity is gone because i suck now
