Hello all!
First, if this is not the appropriate place to post this please let me know so I can move the thread (or move it for me mods).
Second, I'd like to show everyone what I've been working on recently: aoestats.io.
Aoestats is a custom website I made that scrapes match data from Voobly (using their developer api key), aggregates it, and displays it. Stats are based on civilization and include things such as: win rate, play rate, win rate vs game length, avg score, avg age timings, etc... It is periodically retrieving the latest data from Voobly and updating the stats. I embarked on this journey by wondering what the "best" civ was statistically, then it spiraled out of control. If anyone has critiques or comments I would be more than happy to answer on this thread. Yes, I already know that some of the graphs are worthless info, but I still think they're cool
There are a couple of avenues for expansion that I'm interested in pursuing in the future such as: pro player stats, filtering based on ELO, multiple patches/mods, map stats, and more. I would love more ideas if anyone has them.
One of the most "surprising" things for me while developing this is just how often people play Hun Wars in the ranked ladder lol. There's a couple of other cool stats in there, like Slavs only having the fifth highest win rate!
I admit I'm kind of nervous. This is my first post and first foray into the AoE competitive world / community. However, I've been a long time lurker of the Twitch streamers so I feel like I know some of you already haha.
Anyways, check out aoestats.io if you are also interested in match stats like me! Enjoy!
Thanks!
