im glad youre not running voobly
No, not just experts, almost everyone wanted and still wants AoC HD to succeed.who is that guy 1111
There was a poll about limitating smurf accounts and guess what the community voted to keep it as it is, so go and cry to steam forums i bet Atila_The_Hun will be 10k in few days.
I only hated the widescreen stuff that voobly devs were using in the past, by far it is the best place to play aoc the community can download the recs from every expert so you don't need to ask exprts to share their recs or wating for some rec contrabands like in zone times, i understand why soo many experts really want that this aoe HD succed it is because the money that sponsors can donate for future tournaments thats all.
Truth is, my friend, you have no clue of what you're talking about.i also seen alot of excuses for not buying the game as "dont want to spend $$!" "dont have $$" or "my old pc sux"
well maybe a) get a job or b)get a better job. if u dont have the money for HD u shouldnt be wasting time on aoc either

You'd better hold your tongue when it comes to matters that doesn't refer to you by any mean.
My most annoying problem is to find players who are at least a bit experienced. I played with a team where my three allies didn't make a single military unit. I managed to defend my whole team for an hour (Black Forest). It was like a 1v1 with spectators building houses randomly.
Another problem is all the rage quit. People don't resign, they drop from the game. I'm pretty sure that this doesn't count as a win, which is annoying after a long and boring team game.
Basically, multiplayer is not an option, and the quick match is horribly difficult to master.
how to install patches ? ops:

I think if you run Steam it automatically install patches, you can check it on steam's download(?) page. (I'm not at home can't check it but I remember seeing something like that)
And what about the HD part? Is it the same for every resolution?
What I mean is, my desktop res is 1366x768, will the screen be as zoomed in as with a 1920x1080? I believe not, but since you can't pick a resolution ingame...
Does someone know more about this?
Than what's the point of the HD? Ok, the graphics are different and perhaps a bit better... but the resolution is the same?

Its the same as original AoC, and you just can't pick resolution, no zoom out here either.
