I wonder how castle age scorpions fare now against janissaries, it always bugged me how 4-6 scorpions failed miserably to counter similarly small amounts of janissary, though I dont remember anymore if it was a range issue
Version 3.1:
- Outposts stone cost removed.
Its not, IMO. It actually helps some civs with bonuses for them to use them; like Koreans, Byz etc.Version 3.1:

this is OP
yes.. actually i agree with the idea and i like it, but maybe it should cost more wood, if you remove the stone... cause with only 35 wood, outpost could get abused... like you can have LoS of all map with 350 wood xD
yeah, i tought is 35... so it should definately be higher, if you removed the 10 stone. My opinion.
i think it deosnt matter if it's 5 or 10 stone... because you still have to mine with at least 1 vill to make TC.. so it's good to remove the stone cost, but increase the wood. Once again, just my opinion
How about just testing 25 wood no 0 stone?
How about just testing 25 wood no 0 stone?
i won't deny that, as it is his patch i don't have the ability to do so anyway :D
But I can't support it, as I think as Genette said, that it will change the game play drastically as you can literally spam those, without needing to go -100 wood for a mining camp and without the need to mine stone at all. (if you want to place further tcs)
@jinxed11
in normal AoC (1.0c/UP 1.4) outpost cost is 25 wood+10 stone.
Yes, but TAC which was conducted on this patch when it had 5 stone outposts still showed little usage of outposts.@jinxed11
