Any way bypassing matchmaking penalty?

matchmaking penalty means if you got temporary banned. Thiy annoying feature last for an entire day. Any way to bypass it with VPN or something, without adding new steam account?

Resign after 5 mins game time. You can be afk as well but only resign after 5 mins. This is to avoid getting the penalty.

But once you have got the penalty you have to serve time.

By doing it countless times whenever I get a sht map (eg: megarandom, baltic etc)

Exactly this. If everyone would simply do this the ALT f4 problem wouldn't exist anymore. Luckily we are slowly but steadily getting there.

Hate is all the language they know, they are the same people here,aoeforums and reddit they spam the same, if you refuse to play with 900 elo players vs them stacking 3.2k and ruin their beautiful experience you should be executed or at very least banned 300 hours.

Aoe2 has been losing players ever since the punishment patch was released, sadly the data is contaminated with the aoe4 impact, but that stupid measure is only pushing players away, their limited reasoning can't make them think beyond their own frustrations, they arethe kind of humans that if were put in prison they wouldn't ask why are they there but instead they would question why others complain and don't follow the rules, such a pity existence imo.

If you are not motivated for playing ranked, then i dont know why you signed up for the ranked game in the first place. If you dont like the way it works, then why are you still playing it that way? These seem better question to ask about that situation.

You're putting words in my mouth I didn't use. It's called a strawman.
Secondly, I bought a game I enjoy playing, never signed anything.
This set of rules happens to satisfy you, that's why you happen to defend it. With you plenty of others who enjoy so as well. So it satisfies this group that happen to like it. However there is no specific reason to choose this specific system over another, what the devs have chosen from match making to map selection, it's still somewhat arbitrary.
When the devs were faced with a problem concerning this matchmaking system, dodging, they thought, the guys not following our arbitrary system, they're the problem. They put a bucket underneath a leaky pipe instead of reconsidering how match making works.
People who happen to like this, will say, oh well I'm very law abiding and so should you be. We need to keep putting the bucket there afresh.

I felt the same about your post. They were pretty offensive without any good reason. You started with thing like 'Your path is a path of hate' without a reason at all. You might wanna look in the mirror first before you point to another.

I am open for improvements of the current ranked system. I have never said it is the best system ever or something like that. And i will never do so either. I am not here for defending the devs. I have my own wishes on how to improve the system. It isnt the perfect system. That will never exist either. At least i see MM as a big improvement over a lobby. At least MM is doing a good job for 1v1s. The TG ladder has some issues. Most of the dodging is on the TG ladder afaik, that also indicates it is a problem with TG matchmaking. I like your example of the bucket underneath a leaky pipe. That makes the TG ladder kinda playable again. But i really hope that the penalty system is meant to be the bucket. I hope to see some permanent improvements in the near future as well. The penalty system should never be used as a permenent fix.

This is a good conversation to be having. I personally think alt+f4 or any queue dodging is pretty selfish, and with only a little bit of effort you can find a way to enjoy yourself on a map you wouldn't have chosen, but at the same time -- since when is it Person A's responsibility to sacrifice their own enjoyment just so Person B can have a good time? Do we also advocate for people to lose on purpose just so the other player can have a win?

I like the penalty because, as I understand it, the wait time starts out pretty short and gets longer each time you do it, which means that for those who really get a map or match-up they know they hate playing, they can still queue dodge and then go grab a snack or something while they wait. I could be wrong though -- maybe it forces you to wait an entire day the first time you dodge.

That said, I think a much better solution would be to just let people ban as many maps as they want. The natural consequence of banning more maps is that you'll wait longer in queue, but you'd only wait as long as it took to match, none of this punitive stuff. Players are still rewarded for being more open-minded because they'll queue up faster than otherwise, and voila, everyone is happy.

The same group you are describing are the same with their profiles full with awful match ups vs very newbies, you are just in the group of stackers, where you have control over the maps, good communication and you have got used to find games like that below 7 mins, even tho there is 0 quality you are still playing and winning most of the time, so no complains keep it going.

The dodging is not for 1x1 it is for tg, there are 8 humans there and there is no freaking way to find a middle ground with current system involving 8 different preferences, you guys are just defending the most antidemocratic system cause its on your side, everything about the system is bad, you are just exploiting it to your convenience.

The system has been wrong since release, no one likes forced settings, specially good players that is the reason why we have never seen them bothering playing ranked team games, if the crem of the aoe2 society refuses to follow those forced rules by 900 elo devs, why do we the plebs have to play like that? there is no logical answer to that and it has been 2 years, the most played game mode with most users in aoe2 offers a miserable experience overall, stop defending it for god sake.

Punishments were also implemented in halo infinite MP and that game had potential in terms of a larger player base is now dammed cause of the same silly rule, if you leave the queue despite you don't want to play certain game mode they ban you, just like aoe forcing someone to play nomad if he wants arena, halo infinite is now on the verge of aoe4 losing more and more ground steadily, game can be good but if its on the wrong hands it will perish.
