ya, I did it in one game. I am mong and opponent chinese, He treb my treb and I treb his castle. I kill his castle but he has 6 treb remaining, I just have 3treb with no army..... then he rape me and win the treb war.dunno if its better but i prefer to rape his castles first and then rape his trebs
that's ok but he repair his castle tooShoot castles while repairing your trebs.
YEA! I forget some rams can rape his treps, now I get some idea about treb war, thanks for sharingDepends, if you are vs mong kill castle as soon as possible, if he has a civ that has strong uu kill the castle, if he is doing just trebs and u know nothing is gona come out of the castle kill the trebs, or if you are mongs or has paladins, siege rams and such aim for the castles and kill the trebs with ur units (mangudai ftw).
As he is repairing his castle, he is losing valuable stone.that's ok but he repair his castle too
..
Let s see an example : 3 casltes vs 3 csatles and 4-5 trebs vs 4-5 trebs.......
Well its impossible to say 100% right way in any situation because of 1 thing, trebs miss trebs so say you decide to go for his castle and him for your trebs if he is lucky with hits your trebs will dy too fast and he wins the treb war, if he is unlucky and misses alot you going for his castles was probably a good idea and same applies if the opposite happens. My usual tactic is to go for the trebs untill you have a 2 treb advantage or so then go for castles. Main advice i can give for treb war is get masonry(hoardings if you have a castle too far from trebs or low gold etc) and you almost always can see a treb war coming so try and have some anti treb units ready(rams/cav/something). Each treb war in every situation probably has an optimal course of action you can take but the best way wont always win when treb accuracy luck is involved.
luda (storm_disciple) seems to have AMAZING luck with his treb wars.
you guys sure there's no trick? he's beaten me in every treb war we ever fought (like 5+), even if i started out with more, or we started out with even.
i remember one game where i had 5 trebs, and he just started making them. his one treb, then two then three killed all my trebs, and my 5 missed all their shots.
this includes me repairing my trebs and having all trebs target just 1 enemy treb.
it feels like if he targets, one hit and my treb is gg. my targets always miss. and if he doesn't, his trebs still hit.
my trebs ARENT close together... so stray hits shouldn't affect other ones...
are we sure there's no trick to it?
