12 Angry Men original movie is one of its kind.
i Watched 7 samurai on telly when i was 15. That was an unforgetting experience. It was out of this world in those days (1985)
Later, when internet was invented and IMDB came into existence i found out it was actually a very well respected movie.
I got it now on my drive, but if i watch it, it fails to grab that magic. It just takes so long. The time has changed. Our perception of things have changed. Need for fulfillment is driving us. No more 4 hour movies with 2 hour intro.
You have to reserve all night for this movie. Close the door, close the curtains. Dim you lights. Put off computer, internet, phone, everything. Do not speak for 2 hours. Then go watch that movie. Make sure nothing will disturb you.
Where have we gone. I long for the days you had to write a letter to some company or person to find answers to obscure questions. To put that stamp on it and bring it to the mailbox on my bike. then waiting for days and weeks for that answer to come.
oh. yes. I drink beer. It loosens my keyboard a bit.
