Here is a suggestion to fix the Burgundians' unit tech.
As generally agreed, its main problem is that it is an "all-or-nothing" tech, which can either make you win the game by overwhelming the opponent with hundreds of units, or make you lose if the push fails.

What are good counters against the shock attack? My idea so far are halbs as counter unit and Aztecs as counter civ. Anyone has some other practical inputs? How can they be coutnered in efficient way?
