I mean... if it was only a bracket, yeah... but there will be a group stage before, so there's some flexibility in that regard. (in liquipedia appears as a 4 round swiss, but im yet to see where they got that from)
I think the mayor problem with ECL was that the tournament was 1 year long.
The hype when it was announced was high, but it has been decaying as the tournament progressed (and for me even more when it was open-stream, as each match was played in a different day).
I think a format like the Dota...
I understood other thing:
If someone hosts from EU, the room will default to EU, but the host will be able to change the server where the game will happen, so they only have to agree on the server they will play.
Games usually pings every server avaliable and connects to the server that offers the lowest ping.
A friend told me that in SC2 he could play vs NA players from EU and still have a pretty ok ping. So if the new server structure is similar, it wouldn't be optimal, but will be decent enough imo.
The hotkeys are in the "same place" as they are visualy on the UI. So if you want to buid, for example, a barrack, the hotkey is W (military building) > Q (barrack)
I agree with you in the part of making like noobody saw win8, but i don't understand the hate some people throw over win10...
Looks like I'm late to the party, but if at the end I MUST put their logo on my 0.5 average viewers stream every time I want to play AoE on voobly I will put it upside down.
I just think about it for a sec and I think I got it but better safe than sorry: if, for example, in a 1v1 Bo3 both players use a civ of the civpool in the first 2 matches and tie 1-1, the tiebreaker is freeciv?
