I feel like the title of this thread title misrepresents his sentiment, he seems more concerned about the low viewer/player counts than the "quality" of the game, but you link the video so people can see for themselves
Yeah, if you listen carefuly, you could always hear between the lines, that he is not happy about the state of the game. He's obviously always very careful with his words, but he does say towards the end (minunte 3:00) he's confident that by Summer/Fall the game "won't feel like it's in early access".
The implication being at the moment that's what it feels like to him...
Yeah I think you're totally right. The player base and twitch audience for AoE4 is obviously declining, but the youtube audience for AoE2 is many many times bigger than AoE4. Given that Spirit of the Law is a youtube content creator, focusing on that audience seems to make sense.I feel like the title of this thread title misrepresents his sentiment, he seems more concerned about the low viewer/player counts than the "quality" of the game, but you link the video so people can see for themselves
These things are quite strongly coupled.I feel like the title of this thread title misrepresents his sentiment, he seems more concerned about the low viewer/player counts than the "quality" of the game, but you link the video so people can see for themselves
I only heard mention of a Masters in the video. Not the same thing...I just wanna wish him good luck in his PhD. Remembering my days of pain with doctoral qualification but also considering videos of SOTL, I believe you can nail it easily. Best wishes.
Ah my bad then, I had a master integrated PhD so sometimes I miss those details.I only heard mention of a Masters in the video. Not the same thing...
Still his output has been quite impressive considering his studies and move.
It could be masters with an eye to PhD.Ah my bad then, I had a master integrated PhD so sometimes I miss those details.
