2/10 drama. But since the forum has been dry of any drama since the m-word incident, anything is welcome.
Hm, I see. After I said gg I waited like 5 or 6 seconds and then said "11 no gg?" to which he responded with "11" after a couple seconds, and I pretty much immediately responded with "toxic *****". But I can't remember the interval between me saying that and him saying "no fletching". Maybe he was just laughing because he forgot fletching and I hastily assumed he was being disrespectful. Which is my bad.
i mean definitely he was acting in a really unfriendly way, but still no insults no anything..Alright. Sorry. Guess I owe an apology to Nightstyle.

I am currently ~1800 and he is ~1950 and peaks at 2k. Knowing this from the beginning of the game I played nervous. Said glhf at the beginning, no response. Ofc he stomped me, fair play, no johns. Then he doesn't even say GG and laughs at me because he won without even researching Fletching. ... Nice
Must have been because you didn't say gg KappaHold my beerView attachment 196049
The side that lost must type it first, if it's otherwise it's foolishI always felt it’s an unwritten rule in aoe for both sides to say gg after a game is done.
Im trying to picture right now how ridiculous someone would look if they refused the hand shake after a tenis match because "the oponent didnt earn it"Actually the GG is to show respect to ur opponent, if you had a terrible game for whatever reason and you just put yourself into a game over situation writing gg doesn't have much sense, since the opponent did nothing, i think the "gg" should be earned tru the gameplay rather than just being polite, but well i guess that opinion may vary.
Anyway there is an active bug when the game mutes the opponent when the game starts, so a lot of GG's are lost despite being written.
You may find it ridiculous but it happens quite a lot (especially on the women's tour), when a player feels their opponent has been playing a bit with the rules or dirty.Im trying to picture right now how ridiculous someone would look if they refused the hand shake after a tenis match because "the oponent didnt earn it"
Still no reason for insult of course.
Actually I have some similar experience, not that nothing being sent after me typing, but the chat box instantly closes after I "open" it by pressing enter. As crappy as the DE chat system is, sometimes I type and nothing sends and I try to open the chat screen five times, and it still won't work and I'm all stressed that my poor opponent will think I'm disrespectful for not saying "gg," and then they call me toxic and then the chat box FINALLY works and I type "11," and then the guy just doesn't understand all the torment I was just going through and

What works for me when this happens is click on the trumpet to open that chat and type from there.Actually I have some similar experience, not that nothing being sent after me typing, but the chat box instantly closes after I "open" it by pressing enter.
Press enter => Chat box appears =>Chat box disappears
YesDon't want to add more to what others have already,
but I'm curious if you had actually resigned the game after you gg'd?
From my post in the "Do we need AoEZone?" thread.Sadly, this has been taken over by drama threads, accusations of cheating and virtue signaling. Whenever I try to discuss the game itself a handful of people are willing to do it.
